Hello,
I am using a mac and i downloaded a screensaver a while ago
All of a sudden it stopped working, when my screensaver is supposed to come up it is only a black screen
i checked the log window and these errors came up:
8:18:44 15572 3 Stage.TransitionThread: timed out waiting for load of 800_4.mp4
8:26:26 462018 3 Stage.TransitionThread: timed out waiting for load of 800_4.mp4
please help me to see how i can fix this!
Did the “all of a sudden” happen to correspond to a software update you ran on your mac?
If so, the problem is most likely that a Safari update broke the screensaver.
The solution is to make sure your screensaver software is up-to-date itself. If you are not the author of the screensaver, then you should contact the author and ask them to update it.
What version is the screensaver software? You can tell this by opening the screensaver control panel (Apple Menu / System Preferences / Desktop & Screen Savers, then click the Screen Saver tab and click the “Options…” button). You will see a version number in the bottom of the window, something like “4.3.8.362”.
