The helper application used within screensaver is using Rosetta. On macOS 26.4 beta 3 the pop up shows
“This version of “XXXXX” will not open in a future release of macOS. Learn how to update to an Apple Silicon version.
This was made with iscreensaver 6.9.1 latest version
Apple is planning to stop supporting Rosetta2 sometime in 2028, and dealing with this is on our roadmap. There is no immediate functional problem, the screensavers built with 6.9.1 all work normally.
yes i know that. But you need address this now. From 26.4 all user will get pop ups saying it wont work and log internal incidents.
In our testing, this message only shows up if the screensaver has been built enabling the HUD, which is not a typical setting. And even then the message only shows up one time.
