The QuickTime plugin for Window is getting very old, and reports are now that there will be no further updates.

iScreensaver Designer 4.5 supports the QuickTime Plugin for Windows, but iScreensaver Designer 5.0 does not - instead it uses the more modern and secure HTML5 video standards.

We recommend that all authors being the transition to the more modern feature set of iScreensaver Designer 5.
